SEA OTTERS HOLD HANDS TO KEEP FROM DRIFTING APART WHILE SLEEPING

Sea otters hold hands while sleeping preventing them from drifting apart! Quite cute. They have a pouch under each foreleg where they keep a individual specific tool stone (otter hammer) for smashing molluscs and crustaceans on their own belly before they eat them at the surface. The pouch may also be used for storing extra prey be
fore surfacing. Smart!
