Ginger (Zingiber officinale):

This is one of the best remedy for treating morning sickness. You can just chew fresh ginger flakes in the morning or whenever you have nausea feeling. Add some ginger drops to the tea and drink. You can also opt for ginger tablets or ginger candy as it is the best way to control nausea.

Lemon (Citrus limon):

This is another effective remedy for morning sickness as it has a pleasant odor. The smell of a fresh lemon is helpful in treating nausea and vomiting. Hence, pregnant women can take fresh lemon juice squeezed in water and you can add salt or sugar depending on your choice.

Mint:

Mint is very effective in controlling nausea and vomiting. Mint in any form of peppermint, spearmint or horse mint are all helpful. You can also prepare mint tea and drink and the other way is to chew mint sticks or use humidifier, which emits mint aroma into the air as it is an effective method to relieve morning sickness. Mint has the aroma, which stimulates the body and the brain to alleviate the feelings of nausea and vomiting.

Avoid the intake of spicy foods as they are the main cause of morning sickness. They also increase the heat of the body and this could be dangerous for the life and health of the fetus.

Never remain hungry when you are pregnant but eat small and frequent meals throughout the day. The growling or hunger pangs of the stomach must be avoided.
