Different pathogens trigger characteristic immune responses

But they are less familiar with so-called Type 2 responses, which respond to an enormous spectrum of stimuli ranging from nanometer-sized allergens to 20-meter-long parasitic worms. In a Review from the 27 July issue, Pulendran and Artis further detail Type 2 immunity, and how it initiates and controls its responses.
